Josefina Maria Jaramillo-Orellana's Obituary
The story of our beloved Mother
Our mother was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 28th 1936. Daughter to Jose Maria Jaramillo and Ymelda Orellana. She is survived by her two children Sonnia Alvarez and Roberto Moran.
Her along with her sisters Olga and Dolores were left as orphans at a very young age and were cared for and educated by the nuns of the Hermanas de la caridad.
Regardless of the obstacle’s life presented her as a single mother she pushed us forward, supporting us in all moments. In the difficult times with her strength and determination and in the good times with her love and compassion. She was an independent and self-sufficient woman with strong character. Hardworking, persistent, and determined. A beautiful soul that enjoyed life with her two children and grandchildren with a marvelous sense of humor. The love she exemplified for her children was a testament to the power mothers bring to a family. This was evident in many instances when she would drop everything to come and be by our side when we needed her most.
The passing of our mother has left an emptiness in our hearts that cannot be replaced, however the memories and her legacy will live on in us.
Dear mom, you are not with us anymore but we are certain that you are celebrating in Heaven in the presence of our Lord. We rejoice knowing this, how beautiful it is to finally be with our Creator.
Now you can rest in peace mom because you did everything for us and more. We will take care of the rest.
We love you so much, mother. You will be forever in our hearts.
