Joseph E. "Joe" Mooney's Obituary
Joseph E. “Joe” Mooney, 34, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July, 26, 2016. He was born on October 28, 1981, the son of Richard and Sheala (Cunningham) Mooney. Joe was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to OU, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a wonderful athlete himself, having played numerous sports, including, golf, basketball, football, etc… He was also an artist, and enjoyed painting. He is survived by his parents, Richard & Sheala Mooney, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, daughters, Sarah Mooney, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Ashlynn Mooney, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Kiera Weins, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, three siblings, Jennifer Johnson, and her husband, Josh, of Berryhill, Oklahoma, David Mooney, and his wife, Misty, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Daniel Mooney, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Cunningham, Beatrice Stratman, and Richard and Emma Mooney. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Flowers may be delivered to the church for the memorial service on Monday, beginning at 12:30 PM.
