We offer our most sincere condolences to Joe's family. I worked with Joe many years at North American Aviation, then Rockwell, and then Boeing in Dept 990, the HIDE group. He was a wonderful and skilled person that did a tremendous job of getting the strange things built that we engineers dreamed up. That group was a great bunch of people that worked hard and accomplished a lot, much of it due to Joe's ability and energy. We even traded cars amongst us. I still have parts of a strange little German NSU that Joe bought from a member of the group. One of you girls had an an accident that totaled it, but I bought it with the idea I would make an off-road dunes buggy from the parts. Never happened, but the engine and suspension parts are still in my garage! Our sympathy and prayers as you mourn the passing a great man. Bob and Vada Strattan.
Uncle Joe was a lovely man who loved Aunt Verle and his girls beyond measure. He always treated me like one of his own girls and I will never forget spending time with the family and feeling so loved. Rest in Peace, Uncle Joe.
