Joshua P. Smith's Obituary
Joshua Pearl Smith, a resident of Tulsa, was called home unexpectedly on April 3, 2019 at the young age of 40. Joshua was born July 23, 1978 to Carl Smith and Denise Gallagher of Enid, Oklahoma. He enjoyed many adventurous activities from riding bikes and motorcycles to working on cars, computers, and any gadget he could get his hands on. He enjoyed making his own knives and had a true connection to his music. Joshua worked for Cox for 15 years making many accomplishments and life long friendships along the way. He had many talents and goals which allowed him to start his own window tinting business as well. Most of all Joshua treasured spending time with his children. He had a deep and loyal love for his family and was a true believer in Jesus Christ. Even though Joshua had many struggles with his health, we know that he is now in Heaven with his mother and is in perfect health. Joshua will be remembered for his wild and loving spirit. His memory will live on in each of the many lives he touched in the very short time that he graced this Earth.Joshua was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Ankeny, whose reunion was undoubtedly glorious. Survivors include his former wife, Jessica Smith and three sons, Austin Smith, Caleb Smith, and Noah Smith; brothers Jason Gallagher and wife Ashley, Jeremy Gallagher and wife Dianna; Shannon Smith and wife Kasey, James Wesley Gallagher; sister Jennifer Gallagher; step father Mark Ankeny, and father Carl Smith as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and loving friends.Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on site in the Family building from 4:30-6:30pm.
