Kenyon, Joy L's Obituary
Joy L. Kenyon, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on July 31, 1953, Joy was a woman of many passions and always enjoyed a good laugh and a scoop of butter pecan ice cream- extra caramel.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Herbert and Carlean Orr, of Tulsa Oklahoma
Joy had a wide range of interests, but her greatest joys came from the things closest to her heart—watching hockey (Tulsa Oilers), engaging in lively political discussions, and spending time with her furry friends, children and grandchildren. She always found comfort and love in her relationship with God and her daily prayers. She was a fierce advocate for her beliefs and never missed an opportunity to share a thoughtful opinion or a good story.
She is survived by her children, Kristine "Tina" Martin and Nick and Rachel Wilhelm, and her five cherished grandchildren: Andrew, Owen, Caleb, Brody, and Dylan, who brought her endless pride and joy. Joy also leaves behind her sisters, her brother, and many extended family members and friends who will miss her sharp humor, candid conversations, and unwavering love.
Joy's legacy is one of strength, loyalty, and love—a woman who lived passionately and gave generously. She always made time to listen when you needed her, never judging-just kindness and unwavering support. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know her.
A private family gathering will be held to honor her life at a later time.
We will miss you dearly and love you always.
