Debbie and Family –
It is with such a heavy heart that I write this note. Joyce has meant the world to my mother, Lois, and therefore to me and the rest of my family. From the day that Mom moved into Aberdeen, Joyce has been a constant friend, confidante, crafting and choir partner, dining companion, and absolute joy to be around.Joyce lifted the energy and spirit of any room she entered. With her impeccable taste, style and stature, she graced the room with a welcome smile and greeting. I spent many an hour visiting with her over meals and coffee at Aberdeen and considered her a personal friend with whom I always sought company. Her stories of the years that she spent as a teacher in Tulsa will stay with us for the pride that she had in serving her students. I will cherish the memory of the precious little time that I was able to get to know her.You have our deepest condolences for the loss of such a wonderful and amazing person as Joyce. Her absence is felt in every way at Aberdeen. She will be missed.
