Juanita Alexander Garrett, age 93 years old, passed from this life November 1, 2015, at home, surrounded by her family, in Owasso, Oklahoma. Juanita was born, November 7, 1921, to Fletcher and Margaret Alexander, in Houston, Texas Juanita married the love of her life, Claude Leo Garrett, January 18, 1943, in Washington, D.C. She will be dearly missed by daughter Karen Garrett and her significant other Rhonda G. Killian and Rhonda’s children Lee Killian and wife, Sabriena, and Jake and Tamika Crissup and their children Magnolia and Jonah; granddaughter Mishelle Garrett; grandsons Christopher Garrett and wife, Kim, Craig Garrett, and wife Chelsey, and Ryan Garrett, and wife Hannah; great-randchildren Jayden, Addison, Brodie, Nolan, and Jessie; and her little dog Zoey. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband Claude Leo Garrett; son Roland Edward Garrett; and sister Judy Barron. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2015, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Inurnment will be held at a later date, in the Veterans Field of Honor, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Juanita Garrett’s name and honor, to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
