Judith "Judy" Frances Riley's Obituary
Judith (Judy) Frances Riley passed from this life on March 15, 2014 in Tulsa at the age of 66. Judy was born in McAlester, OK on July 19th, 1947 to Jack and Donna Davis. In 1965, she graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. She married James E. Riley in 1966. They resided briefly in Colorado and Texas before returning to Tulsa 1969. Together they had two sons, Sean O’neill, born in 1973 followed by Kevin Eugene in 1975. She was passionately involved in her sons activities while proudly serving as the registrar for Union Soccer Club from 1987-1988. Judy was happily employed as the office manager at City Veterinarian Clinic in Tulsa from 1984-2008. During that time, Judy reconnected with a childhood classmate, Roger Peacock, who became a close companion to her for years to come. She went on to work at a prominent Tulsa law firm from 2008-2014.Judy lived her life for others and was especially proud of her family. She was in constant motion, always striving to please those around her. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. More than anything, she adored her grandson. Holden will cherish those countless memories with his Nana. Always generous with her time, she was hardworking and dependable while constantly concerned for others. We will miss her unselfish love, smile and uncanny wit to make others laugh. We love you, moma, and we, also, will always be with you.She is survived by her loving sons, Sean Riley and his wife, Karen; Kevin Riley; sister, Sharon Temme and husband, David of Broken Arrow; father of her children James E. Riley of Broken Arrow; nephew, Jason Temme and his wife Andrea of Broken Arrow; nephew, Mark and Twyla Davis of Houston, TX; niece Christie Carlson; nieces Jennifer Allen and Stephanie Davis; grandson Holden; cousin, Rick and wife Lanita Ritschel of Glenpool; cousin Sue Ritschell of Tyler, Texas; cousin Farrell Ritchell; numerous great nephews and nieces; and longtime companion and fiance, Roger Peacock.She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Davis and Donna Sexton; brother Jackie Davis; aunt Murl Ritchell; and cousins Ronnie and Don Ritchell.
