Judy Ann Bolliger's Obituary
Judy Bolliger was born on March 23, 1951 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Richard and Jean Baugh. As a child she lived in Michigan and Mississippi before her family settled in Southern California where she graduated from high school and college.It was in Biology Lab at Fullerton Junior College that she met Randy Bolliger, the love of her life. They were married on March 22, 1973 in Garden Grove, California.Judy and Randy lived in California until 1978 when they moved to Oklahoma and eventually settled in Broken Arrow. Their daughter, Lindsay, the center of their universe, was born December 30, l983.Judy worked at Hinderliter from 1980 until 1986, where she met Ed Knighten who remains a special friend of the family. From 1986 until 1995 she was a stay-at-home mom with daughter, Lindsay. They enjoyed spending their summers at Big Splash.She was employed by the Tulsa World from 1995-1997, when her health forced her to retire.Judy enjoyed watching her daughter perform in a variety of high school productions, playing games with family, going to the movies, eating at P.F. Chang’s, watching every Judge show on television and observing the antics of her nieces and nephews.Judy passed from this life on January 30, 2005. She will be greatly missed by her family and remembered for her laughter and her love of life. She was a great example of courage when faced with adversity and in finding humor in any situation.A celebration of life service was held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 4, 2005, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.Survived By: her husband, Randy, and their daughter, Lindsay. She is also survived by sisters, Diane (Oklahoma), Nancy and Joanne and brother, Dan (all from California) and numerous nieces and nephews; Special family friend, Ed Knighten and mother-in-law, Ruth Bolliger; in-laws Jim and Kay Bolliger (Texas), Karen and Jack Hopkins (Missouri), Mark and Nancy Taylor (Michigan) and several nieces and nephews.
