Judy Kay Walls' Obituary
Judy Kay (Maupin) Walls died Monday, June 23, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judy was born October 15, 1941 to Grace Kathleen Higgins and William H. Maupin in Ada, Oklahoma. She graduated from high school in 1959 in Dallas, Texas. She and her husband, Jim began their family and lived with their two daughters, Diane and Alston in Fort Worth, Texas for 20 years before moving to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1982. Judy worked over 50 years as a Pharmacy Technician at various pharmacies in Fort Worth including Ward Drug, Harris Hospital and Eastern Hills Pharmacy followed by PruCare and a Family Physicians’ Group in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judy retired in 2008. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas D. Snare and her daughter, Alston Danielle Walls. Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jim J. Walls of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her daughter, Diane Walls Rahrig and her husband, Don Rahrig; grandson, Clarke Rahrig and granddaughter, Carson Rahrig all of Mansfield, Texas. Judy is also survived by her brother, William S. Maupin of Sherman, Texas and leaves behind many dear relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their heart felt thanks to all members of the Saint Francis Cancer Center Oncology and hospice teams and Clarehouse for their dedicated and compassionate service in helping Judy and her family during her illness, treatment and battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 6500 South 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK 74012 with family member Roger Norman officiating. Interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s name to Clarehouse, a non-profit hospice care facility, 7616 S.
