June S. Thomas (“Gram”) born June 1, 1922, passed away peacefully December 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Emil Degner of Fergus Falls, MN; loving husband Gordon Thomas; son, Gary Thomas; son-in-law Melvin “Buddy” Schoenrock; sisters, Louise Karlstad, Irene Dashiell, Mabel Degner; brother, Robert Degner; and grandson, Kevin Gilmer. Survived by daughters Joni Gilmer (Larry), Jane Schoenrock, Judi Prevatt (Randy), 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, sister Florence Poynter; and many nieces and nephews.Gram was lovingly selfless, goodhearted, witty, adventurous, fun and feisty. She loved watching sports and was a devoted Minnesota and Oklahoma fan. But above all, she was the very best Mom, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and friend. We were all blessed to be a part of her life.Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, viewing Sunday, January 4, 2015 from noon until 8 pm. Memorial service will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
