I don't know what Heaven will be like, but I'm pretty sure Ray Bolz song "Thank You" could describe the welcome home party yesterday for one of the most determined, big hearted Christians I've ever known. June McGuire was not a quitter – you needed a really good excuse for missing church when she came knocking on your door often over and over again. She was the first on the door step when there was a need, countless children learned about Jesus from June, congregations sang hymns while she played the piano, her dishes filled the table at pot lucks, and there was nothing she wouldn't do to share her love for God. June wasn't a Sunday morning Christian,. Her love in action went from running down homeless kids to give them something to eat to participating in work and witness projects in foriegn countries. Her faithful prayers and support will be missed at Living Hope Church of the Nazarene. We all know this church in North Tulsa could not have survived without the faithful determined efforts of Richard and June McGuire. This song says it well "Thank you for giving to the Lord!' We have all been changed by your dedicated service!
