Life as a Tabor has been forever changed by June in many ways over the years. As a crowning effort of her love and devotion to family, she organized and encouraged all Ken's siblings to gather memories to put together into an anthology. This collection effort raised many good memories about growing up "Tabor". I have to this day a ceramic scottie dog cookie jar i keep in my kitchen engraved on the bottom: JUNE Tabor 1985 (just a hint for someone wishing to inherit it) that reminds me each day of her skill as a craftsperson, her whimsy and her generous nature. June was the leader of our parent group at Marshall Elementary when Jason was racing through his young school years. She never met a stranger, all decisions with the students as her focus. We laughed, we cried and we tried-all day every day. I was fortunate to work all over the Tulsa school district over the years and without a doubt June stands high and tall in my mind as what a huge role model parents can be in the lives of our children. Ken you were the support system, Jason you have your Mother's smile as I recall. My heart hurts over this loss..Im imagining your infamous annual Christmas letter now being written from heaven.

I LOVED having June as a neighbor. It was great to be able to talk with her about different things. She was very opinionated and didn't mind expressing herself to the people she knew. She was always caring about her loved ones and very protective. I loved our chats in the warm evenings, on her porch, sometimes for long periods of time. I will miss her dearly, and thankful for the time we were blessed to know her.
I love, I love coming to Oklahoma and spending time with June and the family, she would always make me laugh, June would fix my hair dye it pink purple blue and we would just have lots of good memories and laughs together, she would go out of her way to make sure that I really enjoyed my vacation while I was there her son her husband and her grandson always made me feel so welcomed, Jim will be missed dearly and I am so sad, Marion Woodard
June you will be missed by everyone who knew you because of your generous and caring heart. I will miss all the years of having you as a neighbor and friend.
