Justin Elton Dye's Obituary
Justin Elton Dye, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, tragically passed away on May 9th, 2026, at the age of 46 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on September 6th, 1979, in Oklahoma City, OK, to parents Elton Dee Dye and Martha Anne Kinder. Justin leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Justin’s passion for cars began at a young age, learning by building his very own car at 16 years old all by himself and by the time he was in his early twenties he had built and restored several cars. Justin’s skill and ability to paint cars was unlike any other. Truly a unique and remarkable skill that he dedicated his life to. Another passion of Justin’s was his friends and family. He was proud of his children, and their accomplishments and his love never wavered. Justin was also an outstanding friend. He helped anyone in need, he was just a call away and he’d be there in an instant. Justin had a unique soul that carried kindness, humor, generosity, and genuine compassion for everyone in his life. He will remain in our hearts and minds forever, loved always.
Justin is survived by his father, Elton Dee Dye, his children, Brooklyn and Dalton Dye, and his two brothers Erik and Scott Owens.
Justin’s service will be at Floral Haven on Thursday the 21st at 3:00 pm. Darrell Moses will be the officiant. After the service we will regather at Haikey Creek Park at 5:00 pm to celebrate Justin’s life with a potluck and car show. We welcome anyone and everyone that knew him, including anyone with a classic car or bike they’d like to show off for his special day.

“Was never good at a lot of things. Only one skill I’ve ever been great at. Takes so many years to learn. Lots of failures lots of mistakes. You have to push yourself to be better in everything you do. It’s not how hard you fall but how fast you get back up and keep pushing forward.” -Justin Dye also know as Dirty White Boy.
