Kaelyn "Kaely" Cozad's Obituary
Kaelyn “Kaely” Elizabeth Cozad, 23, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 15, 2026.
To know Kaely was to know love. Her smile could light up a room and brought joy to everyone she met. Kaely had a special heart for serving children and was lovingly known as the “Baby Whisperer.” She loved Jesus with her whole heart and hoped one day to become a missionary serving children. She also aspired to become a nurse.
Although Kaely faced many difficult physical and mental health challenges throughout her life, she never stopped fighting. During her 23 years, she demonstrated incredible courage, strength, faith, and perseverance. Kaely will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and beautiful spirit.
Kaely was preceded in death by her grandfather, “Pop,” David Cozad.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Jon and Christy Cozad; her brother, Evan Cozad; her grandparents, Larry “Gramps” Barnhill and his wife, Linda “Nana” Barnhill; Darlene “Gramma” Hume; and Jeannie “Amma” Cozad.
Kaely also leaves behind her beloved dog, Oreo, her best companion and cuddle buddy. Oreo was rescued at just 6 weeks old and faithfully remained by Kaely’s side for the past 12 years.
Enjoy your freedom with Jesus, sweet girl. We will see you again soon. We love you so much, K-Bug.
Love, Mom and Dad
