Kaitlyn "Katey Bug" Parker's Obituary
Kaitlyn “Katey Bug” Parker, 10, of Broken Arrow, went to heaven on March 22, 2014. She was born on June 19, 2003, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kaitlyn was a 5th grader at Oakcrest Elementary School in Broken Arrow. She had been a student at The Little Light House in earlier years. Kaitlyn was a very special little girl who was full of light and love. She liked to wear jean jackets, and loved the colors pink and purple. Kaitlyn is survived by her mom and dad, Chad and Alicia Murray, of Broken Arrow, brother, Acen Murray, grandparents, Patricia Parker, of Broken Arrow, Tommy Parker, of Broken Arrow, Beverly Hubbard, of Broken Arrow, Greg Newell, of Broken Arrow, Jackie Murray, of Porter, Oklahoma, Diane Murray, of Broken Arrow, great-grandparents, Sam and Suki Murray, aunts and uncles, Darnell and Brittny Rentie, of Tulsa, Jesse and Jodie Parker, of Marlow, Oklahoma, Samuel and Eden Murray, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Drew and Jewel Murray, of Porter, Oklahoma, Tommy Parker III, of Broken Arrow, Bailey Hubbard, of Broken Arrow, and Emma Parker, of Broken Arrow, and numerous other family members and friends. She is also survived by her little dog, Diego, who was her beloved companion and friend. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mildred “Mickey” Parker, Bill and Barbara Linduff, and great-aunt, Sharon King. The family requests that those who attend her service wear pink, purple or a jean jacket in Kaitlyn’s honor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kaitlyns memorial marker fund at Floral Haven Funeral Home or to The Little Light House, www.littlelighthouse.org.
