Karen S. Ellis-Conn's Obituary
Karen Sue Ellis Conn, age 59, passed on to her Heavenly Home in her sleep on Sunday, October 8, 2017. She was born in Tulsa, Ok on July 10, 1958 to Margaret and Don El Dodds at St. Francis Hospital. She attended Jenks Public Schools for the entirety of her school career and was active in the band playing the clarinet as well as D.E.C.A. She spent the last seven years as the primary caregiver for her father Don El. She enjoyed watching NCIS and reading in her spare time. Karen was a jack of all trades, and could learn anything she put her mind to. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Mae Dodds. She is survived by her loving spouse of 7 years, Billy Conn of Jenks, her daughters, Lauren and JR Cross of Jenks, Stephanie and Tony Goertzen of Jenks, and Rachelle and Jason Wooley of Jenks, grandchildren Jordan Som de Cerff, Skylar and Dylan Jones, Ian and Emma Feary, and Alexis, Brooke, and Corbin Wooley, her Father, Don El Dodds of Jenks, her siblings, Shawn and Marsha Dodds of Lowell, MA, and Kimberly Dodds and Matt Panning of Rogers, AR and nieces Heather and Clay Watson, and Sarah Kate and Charles Bryant and many other cousins and loved ones.Funeral Services be will be held at Floral Haven, 6500 S 129th E. Ave Broken Arrow, on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 12:30. Viewing will be at Floral Haven on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 9am-8pm.
