Law, Karen Sue's Obituary
Karen Sue Law December 10, 1973 - March 28, 2025
Karen Sue Law, age 51, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on December 10, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Allan Wayne Law and Charlene Josephine (Insalato) Law, Karen brought warmth and light to everyone she encountered throughout her life.
Although her aspirations reached beyond her current role, she remained a committed and diligent customer service representative at Foundever Company. Karen was known for her compassion and friendly demeanor. Driven by a desire for personal growth and a meaningful career rather than just a job, she enrolled at the Community College of Central Maine last fall. After facing challenges with her first chosen major, she spent the spring semester exploring new options for her academic path.
Her love for animals, especially cats - whether big or small - was a defining trait, and her home was often filled with the joy they brought. Karen made instant friends wherever she went; her open, warm, and easygoing personality drawing people to her. Her lifelong best friend Erin, “since they were fetuses” as they always joked, was a constant presence in her life.
She also cherished the beauty of autumn, the magic of Halloween, the adventure of road trips, and the solace of tending to her garden. She particularly loved the Pacific Northwest and the New England states and dreamed of long vacations to both. Whether home or away one thing was certain, Karen would capture it all in photographs. She was the unofficial family record keeper - documenting holidays, travel, and everyday life in photos we will cherish forever.
Karen's memory lives on through her parents, Allan and Charlene Law; her sister, Beth Cox, and her husband Michael; her twin brother, Kevin Law, and his wife Sharon; her beloved daughter, Nikki Condon; her niece and nephews, Caitlin Law, Evan Cox, and Noah Law; and her cherished extended family, including aunts Marilyn Haynes, Jean Salisbury, Mary Ellen Richter, Lois Minta, and Rita Wyrostek; uncle Paul Raymond; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Rose Ann O'Grady, uncles Donald Salisbury, Richard Richter, John Minta, and Ronald Haynes, and cousin Mark Haynes.
Karen's life will be celebrated through a visitation held on Thursday, April 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Her funeral service will take place on Friday, April 4th, at 3:00 PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her love for life and her kindness continue to inspire those she touched during her time with us.
