Memory is something you hold on to; to things and loved ones you don’t want to lose. Karen will always be remembered by the family and friends whose lives she touched. So we bring to our thoughts her loving and caring ways along with her smile and sense of humor. And as long as we remember she will not be far from us. She loved celebrating holidays and putting something up that she made to remember them. And so we will remember her by keeping her memory alive in our hearts.

I was one of her patients for over 20 yrs. She was my friend!. The first time she ministered to me was when my Mom had passed from cancer. She just knew something was wrong, and I will never forget her leaning over me and praying for my healing. From then on we had a special connection, as those do who are believers. She continued to pray for my family and my children, and I prayed for her.
She lived what she believed and I was, and am, forever grateful to her.
I appreciate this space to express my feelings, and my love and prayers to her staff and family.
I can’t believe she’s gone. I love her as a dentist and as a friend and I will miss her as a dentist and a friend. She was a wonderful dentist and an outstanding human being.
I received a letter today advising me of Dr. Pate's passing - and I was heartbroken!! I will never see her smiling face again. She has been my dentist since we moved to Tulsa over 30 years ago. My file was thick! I could always trust that she would do the right things for me. I will always remember how she said I had a small mouth and cute, tiny teeth! She always said she had hands that would fit. I will miss her so much!!! I am praying for her family and friends. I just can't believe she is gone.... but I know with certainty that she is in Heaven and that is a comfort.
Dr.Karen. i fell in love with you the 1st time you put your hands in my mouth..lol..oh how i will miss the laughs ..Knowing you were from the island gave me so much comfort ..You had the best sense of humor amd a amazing heart filled with compassion..Im truly hurt with only know you such a short time ..

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Pate's passing. She was one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. I always had so much anxiety over going to the dentist until I became her patient. I will miss her greatly. I also had the pleasure of officing next to her for the last 13 years and I could not have asked for a better neighbor. She was my friend, my dentist, and a fellow professional, but most of all she was genuinely a sweet and amazing person who cared about everyone.
I cant hardly believe the news i recieved today, it feels unreal, i will truly miss her warm caring sweet demeanor. Their will never be another dentist in my that could be as good as she was to her patients. i will truly miss you...keep smiling in heaven. Lord help her family through this difficult time.
My heart broke when I found out about Karen’s passing. She was a good friend and was my dentist for years and years. We would always share updates and stories about our families during my appointments. She was very caring, considerate, always gentle, kind and patient. I was so sadden by hearing of her passing. She was a wonderful dentist and friend. She always ask about my health and it was very important to her to always offer to pray for me. I have sent several other clients to her and they all loved her as well. She will be missed.
I’ve only been a patient of Dr. Pates for a couple of years. She was always so nice and pleasant, she made sure you were comfortable with whatever she was doing. I will miss seeing her and having our conversations about living in Georgia, as that is where I moved from & how she loved my accent.
