Karl Johan Tomren's Obituary
Karl Johan Tomren was born on Oct. 23, 1944 in Tomrefjord, Norway. Karl was the first of four children to be born to the late Hans Karl Tomren and the late Ingrid Solveig Folkestad Tomren. He departed to heaven on Jan. 25, 2016 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 71.He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Ellinor Tomren of Broken Arrow, OK. Two sisters (and spouse): Haldis Palma (Svein) Vestre of Tomrefjord, Norway, Sigrun Kamilla Bjerknes of Vestnes, Norway. Two Sons (and spouse): Karl Ronny (Bente Schjølberg) Tomren of Ellingsøy, Norway, Glenn (Amy) Tomren of Council Bluffs, Iowa.; One daughter: Camilla Tomren.; Two grandchildren: Mats and Malin Tomren.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Reidun.In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Safari Mission. Visit www.safarimission.org for more information. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on February 1, 2016 from 4 pm to 8 pm with family to greet from 6 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held at Rhema Bible College on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:00 am.
