Kash’auh Forbes, a bright and spirited soul, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Oklahoma City, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love that touched everyone who knew him. Born on April 27, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kash’auh’s short but vibrant life was filled with laughter, energy, and a magnetic charm that made him the life of any gathering.
A second-grader at the Deborah Brown School, Kash’auh was incredibly smart, curious, and full of boundless enthusiasm. He loved pizza, bringing smiles to his family’s faces with his larger-than-life personality and his knack for saying the most unexpected, yet endearing, things. As the middle child, he held a special role, bridging his siblings with his infectious energy and his ability to make every moment memorable.
Kash’auh is survived by his loving parents, Tyneshia Forbes and Karim Markland, who cherished every moment with him. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Carter Forbes, Krissaun Forbes, Darrien Jenkins, Courtland McMillion, Kyrim Markland, Elijah Markland, and Kairee Markland, as well as his uncle O Markland, cousins Azariah, Oswald, and Olive, and grandparents Alma Blackburn, Anita Forbes, Wilbur Forbes, and Harold Markland.
Kash’auh brought light and joy to everyone he met and was truly adored by his family, who will forever treasure the beautiful memories he created with them. His love for life, quick wit, and unbreakable bond with his parents and siblings will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Kash’auh’s spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will always be remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend who made the world a brighter place.
