Katherine "Kathy" Marie Robinett's Obituary
Katherine "Kathy" Marie Robinett, age 69, a resident of Afton, Oklahoma, passed from this life Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kathy was born June 21, 1956, to Everett and Norma Jean (Shorthose) Rutherford in Kansas City, Missouri.
Kathy will be remembered as being funny, even a mischievous fun person.
She was married to the love of her life, John Robinett for 25 years, until his passing in 2013.
Kathy will be dearly missed by her daughters Kimberly Michelle Briley (Jordan), Dawn Marie O'Neal, Brenda Castleberry, bonus daughter Freda Wallace, bonus son Edward Bowers, grandchildren Alexander, Cassidy 'Chasity', Elijah, Jasmine, Gabe (Lynn), Josh, Nicole, Brennon, Brianna, Alexander, Aalijah, and Jaylin, great-grandchildren Jonathon, Aeribella, Gabby, Isabella, and Aaron, brothers and sisters Everett ‘Sonny', Deanna 'DeeDee', Reba, Virginia 'Ginger' (Bob), Gladys (Scott) and Lisa(Jimmy), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and last but certainly not least her four legged best friends Rosie and Blue her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Norma Rutherford, husband John Robinett, grandson Joshua, brothers and sisters George, James, Linda, Michael, and Nita.
Donations may be made in Kathy's name and honor to "Oklahoma Food Bank" or "John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Celebration of life services are being planned at a later date.
