Kathleen (Kathy) Frazier
July 9, 1949 - July 16, 2025
Kathleen Cota Frazier was called home to our Lord and Savior on July 16, 2025. Kathy was born to Glenn H. and Norma Cota on July 9, 1949 in Fullerton CA. Kathy was raised in Canoga Park CA until moving to Overland Park KS in 1966.
Kathy married Bennett D. Frazier, the love of her life on April 8, 1983 in Olathe KS. During their 42 year marriage they enjoyed traveling, sports, golfing and entertaining family and friends. They were avid Chiefs fans and held season tickets for over four decades. They attended many KC Royals and KU Jayhawk football games and had a love for KU basketball.
Kathy graduated from Shawnee Mission West in 1967. Kathy achieved her BA degree from Avila College in 1990 and her MBA degree from Oklahoma City University in 1999. She worked for Amoco Oil Company (BP Oil, Inc) for 30 years and retired early in 2000. Kathy achieved a life long dream of becoming a real estate agent and joined Gordona-Duca Real Esate which became Caldwell Banker, where she was currently employed. Kathy was President of Certified Residential Specialists, the Oklahoma chapter for two years. She loved reading and was actively involved in both her book club and bunco group. Kathy had many close friendships through these groups and her real estate family.
Kathy is survived by her husband Ben, siblings Irene Brown NE, Gene (Joy) Cota MO, stepchildren Ron (Elaine) Frazier KS, Linda (Wade) Molencamp KS, Marla Frazier (Greg Sweeney) KS, granddaughter Leah Thomas KS, stepmother Marlene Cota (IN), nephew Michael (Jennifer) Brown NE, great nephew Caleb Brown NE.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Norma Cota.
We will always remember Kathy’s infectious laugh and she will forever be in our hearts.
A visitation will be held July 21, 2025 at Life Church 2420 E Kenosha St, Broken Arrow OK at 1:30pm with a memorial service to follow at 2pm.
