Kathleen Elizabeth Othouse passed away at the age of 77 in her home of Broken Arrow on December 9, 2025. She succumbed to a three year battle with lung cancer.
Kathy was born on March 13, 1948 to the late Edmond and Mary O'Connell of White Plains, New York, where she grew up and was a graduate of White Plains High School. She worked for The Bank of New York directly out of high school.
In 1968 she married Joseph Othouse of Stamford, Connecticut, where they started a family. Moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1980 with her employer Hilti Corporation. She retired from Hilti with over 40 years of service as a payroll supervisor.
Kathy was very active, she played on softball and bowling leagues. She enjoyed puzzles, board games and playing cards, especially with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and faithful attendee of Saint Anne’s in Broken Arrow where she gave of her time and talents. Kathy was a fun loving, easy-going, selfless, giving, kind hearted soul. She loved her family dearly and was always there for them. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is pre-deceased by her husband and her son Joe Othouse and both parents.
She is survived by her two daughters Donna and Debbie and daughter-in-law Lorie, her eight grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Abigail, Caleb, Zachary, Braden, and Micaiah and her six loving siblings, Mary, Geraldine, Edmond, Nora, Margaret, and Michael.
