Kathlene Brown's Obituary
Kathlene Anita Wetherbee Brown, 72, of Broken Arrow, OK, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born July 19, 1947, in Ft. Smith, AR, daughter of L. A. “Jim” Wetherbee, Sr. and Mollie J. Reed Wetherbee.Kathy graduated from Minden High School, Minden, LA and attended Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN. Kathy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Florence Street Baptist Church of Broken Arrow.She was preceded in death by her parents.Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ted Brown; four children, Michael Williams, of Fayetteville, AR, Melinda Bowman and husband Matthew Cortez, Patrick Brown and wife Charissa, and Kelly Bailie and husband Adam; seven grandchildren, Trenton Bowman, Maddison Bailie, Koalton Bailie, Molly Bailie, Urijah Cortez, Kobe Cortez, and Grayson Brown, all of Broken Arrow, OK; one brother Lowell A. Wetherbee, Jr. and wife Leslie of Bentonville, AR; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside service will be 3 p.m., on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Dwight L. West officiating.
