Kathrine "Katie" Michelle England's Obituary
Kathrine "Katie" Michell England went to be with Jesus on June 7, 2023. She was followed in death by her husband, Jason England, who passed away on June 9, 2023. Katie is survived by her parents, Todd and Georgia Cook; her brother, Eli Cook; aunts and uncles, Katrina & Neil Kingsley, Tom & Chelle Cook, Garry Powers, Peggy & Randy Parks, Sherry & Gary Bogart, and Janet Ballor; countless cousins and other family members. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 16, 1984. Katie graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2002 and attended Tulsa Community College and Community Care College to pursue her career as a dental assistant. She worked for the Creek Nation.
Growing up and during her high school years, Katie had a great love for softball. She also loved animals, enjoyed crafts, and was a great caregiver. She cherished family time, especially when they gathered at her parent's house with their loved ones during the Fourth of July and Christmas holidays. Having both sides of the family together was always special to her.
Katie married Jason England on August 8, 2020. She had a welcoming nature and loved to be with friends, family, and pets.
Katie was preceded in death by grandparents, George & Thelma Powers, and Tommy and Barbara Cook; aunt, Cathy Blevins.
Mother Theresa once said, "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." Katie truly embodied this message and loved so well.
The visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at Floral Haven Rose Chapel.
