Kathryn Sue Wells' Obituary
Kathryn S. Wells, 90, of Claremore, OK passed away July 27th, 2022 at 12:02am in Tulsa, OK. She was born March 19th, 1932 in Skiatook, OK to Roy Clifford Barnes and Leona Mae Barnes. She has been active in the church since her adolescents. Kathryn volunteered at the Claremore Senior Citizens where she helped in the kitchen for 5 years. Kathryn loved baking, cooking, and working in her garden. She always looked forward to Fridays because that was "hair day".
Kathryn married Harley Holt and together they had one daughter Harla Joy Holt (Moore). Later in life, Kathryn married Donald Leroy Wells and together they had a daughter Donna Sue Wells (Hopkins) and a son Jimmy Don Wells.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Helen Jenkins, her grandson Jamey Hopkins, and her son.
Kathryn is survived by daughter Harla and her husband Warren Moore; her grandson Sean and her great granddaughter Merita Moore. Her daughter Donna and her husband Mark Hopkins; her grandson Corey and her granddaughter Désiréé. Her niece Carolyn Sue and her husband Ray Wetherington. She is also survived by many great and great great grandkids; and several great nieces and nephews; and friends.
The family would like to send a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at Clarehouse Hospice for taking amazing care of Kathryn and her family in her final days.
