Kay Lynnette Johnson's Obituary
Kay Lynnette Johnson, age 72 of Tulsa, was born on August 3, 1944 and passed away on February 2, 2017. She the third daughter of the late Warren and Virginia Johnson. KK, as she is affectionately known by most, is survived by her sisters Joyce Quinn and Carol Shaffar of Tulsa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Chaz Johnson of Scottsburg, Indiana, Warren and Mary Quinn of Southwest City, Missouri, April and Gary Fowler of Kansas, Oklahoma, Robert Quinn of Cassville, Missouri, Nanci and John Fields of Drumright, Oklahoma and Vikki and Jeff Reddout of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. KK graduated Will Rogers High School in 1962 and continued her education at a business college for women here in Tulsa. She was an executive secretary in the oil business for 30 years before retirement. She also worked a couple of jobs after retirement because she had to keep busy, however, her health finally slowed her down and she had to give up working and volunteering at the food pantry at church. She enjoyed reading books, watching baseball, family gatherings, church functions and listening to a variety of music. KK was an independent, generous and beautiful woman who had a strong love of God, Family and Country and will be deeply missed.. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, February 6, 2017, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
