Kay Beverly Warrick, 73, passed away peacefully amongst family and friends on March 21, 2024 in Tulsa, OK. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on January 17, 1951 in Punxsutawney, PA, Kay was the beloved daughter of Oran and Marie Zimmerman. From a young age, she exemplified compassion and empathy, traits that would define her character throughout her life and in her long career as a Speech Pathologist in the Tulsa Public Schools.
Kay was a beacon of light in the lives of many. Her warm smile and gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who crossed her path. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and her kind spirit was a trademark for all the students she worked with over the years.
Throughout her life, Kay was deeply devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, always there to offer support and guidance. Her presence brought joy to family gatherings, work events, and parties. Her absence will be keenly felt by all who knew her.
In addition to her dedication to her loved ones, Kay was passionate about caring for her dogs and birds that were always a part of their family. Whether she was pursuing her passions or lending a helping hand to those in need, she approached everything with unwavering sincerity and dedication.
Kay and her husband Mike loved their home in Creede, Colorado which they started visiting in the early 1980’s and called home once they both fully retired. Their large circle of friends in Tulsa was expanded with another large circle of friends in Creede. All of their friends were family to them and will be fondly remembered by us all. Though Kay may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.
