Kay was one of a group of seven girls that were best friends all through junior high and high school. In the 1990's we began taking trips together, one to New Orleans, Ft. Worth, Houston and several other places. What memories we made together. Kay is the second one of this group we have lost. We will all miss her. Barbara Davis, Sue Chapman, Lisbeth Munson, Darlene Richter and Sue Kelley.
Kay was certainly a character bigger than life itself. She played many roles, grandmother, mother, but to me she was my friend. She was a second mom who always looked out for me just as if I was one of her own kids. She cheerfully opened her home to me and I will never forget her kindness, sense of humor and patience. We will miss you Kay, you were loved more than you could know. Alan Bouda
