Kaye Charisse Chaplin
June 6, 1960 – August 25, 2025
With deep love and sorrow, the family of Kaye Charisse Chaplin announces her passing on August 25, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on June 6, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas, Kaye was the cherished daughter of Alvin Oc and Flora Clarisse (Caw) Chaplin.
Kaye dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. As a housekeeper, she brought warmth and diligence to every space she touched. At home, her joy was found in the simple pleasures—nurturing her beloved house plants, preparing meals that brought her family together, and sharing laughter and stories with those she held dear.
Her greatest pride was in her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Brandy Chaplin; her grandchildren Tytiona Chaplin, Staciey Michell, Leeah Mitchell, Makyla Mitchell, Levie Kayla Mitchell, DeAaron Jamison, and Dallis Jamison; and her great-granddaughter, Morgan Mitchell. Kaye also leaves behind her loving brothers, Kerry Chaplin and Aaron Chaplin and his wife Linda; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Flora Chaplin, and her sister, Carlotta Chaplin.
Kaye’s legacy is one of quiet strength, unwavering love, and the kind of presence that made a house feel like home. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Celebration of Life service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at Real Life Outreach Worship Center, 5900 N Madison Ave, Tulsa, Ok 74126
