With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Kaylee Rae Wilson on August 18, 2023. Born on July 12, 2010, Kaylee's light shone brightly in the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Kaylee was the beloved daughter of Ray Wilson and Cassandra "Cassie" Milstead, a source of endless joy and inspiration to her family. Her love for music was a cornerstone of her life; she found solace and happiness in the melody of notes. As a dedicated member of the school band, Kaylee's sweet and melodic clarinet would fill the air, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to hear her play. She had recently embarked on a journey to learn the guitar, a testament to her unquenchable thirst for creativity.
A true artist in every sense, Kaylee's hands brought to life vibrant colors on canvases and transformed raw materials into works of art. Her passion for painting and various arts and crafts knew no bounds, reflecting the depths of her creative spirit.
Kaylee's diverse interests were a testament to her zest for life. From archery to ballet, from karate to gymnastics, she embraced every opportunity to explore and expand her horizons. But more than her hobbies, it was her ability to effortlessly connect with people that left an indelible mark. Kaylee's magnetic personality and infectious energy made her a friend to all she encountered. Her warm heart and open arms made every person feel valued and loved.
Photogenic and full of life, Kaylee's radiant smile was a reflection of her inner happiness. Her exuberance for life was contagious, lighting up every room she entered. She was a beacon of positivity, a reminder that every moment was a gift to be cherished.
Kaylee is survived by her parents, Cassandra "Cassie" Milstead and Ray Wilson, as well as her stepmother Kelley Wilson. She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Jesse Blagg, Mariah Wilson, Paul Wilson, Britten Geary, and Chandler Geary. Kaylee's memory will also be treasured by her grandparents, Dave and Anita Goetzcke, and Ray and Betty Wilson, her great grandfather John Goetzcke, and her aunts and uncles, Tina Goetzcke, Jon and Shiann Goetzcke, Justin Wilson, and Amanda and Jacob Wilson-Krell, will forever hold her close in their hearts; as well her innumerable friends that will forever miss and love her.
She is reunited with her brother Skyler Wilson.
Though Kaylee's time with us was cut short, the impact she made during her brief journey will resonate through the lives of all who knew her. Let us remember Kaylee for her radiant spirit, her unwavering love for friends and family, and the boundless passion she poured into every facet of her life.
