hey what's up my friend?
We were saddened to hear about Kelly's passing and sent a card to the Toledo address where we sent our firewood checks, but it was returned. Decided to go online and was pleased to find this site. Just wanted his family to know how very much we respected him, and enjoyed visiting with him. We very much wanted to let them know that they are in our hearts and prayers. Sincerely, Larry and Linda Arnett, long time customers and admirers of Kelly Deeds.
I knew Kelly for some years. Kelly was a very good man and a hard worker. I remember if he was not working as an electrician, he always had plenty of wood for sale. My condolences go out to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Vonda Fletcher
Kelly was the father figure that our grandson had not had till Kelly came along. He will be greatly missed, his smile and his pleasant demeanor. Our condolences to his family and prayers. Denny and Carol Johnson
Kelly was the first boy at school school I ever fought with! I remember him making leather bracelets in Mrs. Peterson's class and always wanting to arm wrestle me! He beat me a couple of times. Along with Pam (Johnston), the three of us were the tether ball champs throughout elementary school. That's the way I remember it anyway! He was always so mean to me, chasing and teasing me at all the Friday night football games. Later I learned it was maybe because he had a crush on me! I know he looked up to his sister, Traci and had great respect for his Dad, Winston. If his dad left instructions for him to follow or a time he was to be home; he made sure he obeyed. He loved it when his sister got her driver's license and could take him along with her. We never stayed in touch after middle school, when he moved to Broken Arrow. I was sad to hear the news this morning and I'm sure he will be missed by so many. RIP Kelly Joe from Coca Mo
In a life of so few friends I found a true brother, kelly buddy I hope your sitting in that place we talked about. I hope your there with granny and the others you love who have gone before, save me a seat when we meet again, I dont think youll need me to deal next time , you know with the new hands and all. we miss you brother,
I didn't know Kelly well, but as a firewood customer of his, I remember his big smile. I didn't need a lot of wood from him or very often, but he was always willing to accommodate my special stick size and mix of seasoned/green request and my schedule. My rack was in a bad spot with lots of stairs to get to it, he never complained. He was fair with his prices. We would always visit a little when he came to my home, even if his trailer was loaded down with wood that would take him until mid evening to deliver. Our chats were as if we were old school chums. A very hard working and pleasant man. R.I.P. Kelly.JHK
