My mom is known as Aunt Pinky to Shelia's side of the family. She remembers that when Shelia and Kelly's oldest daughter was very young she came into the living room and told Shelia and Kelly that they needed to go to church and become preachers. The man in her bedroom had visited her and told her to tell her mom and dad and when they asked what man she was to say Jesus.

After watching the slide show today and meeting the grown up kids it is clear that God blessed your lives from your father's obedience and faith that God can use even the smallest child to carry a very important message.

Shelia you are truly blessed and loves more than you know.

We met Kelly and Sheila when my husband, Dale came to Rhema. We were on the same softball team. It was an immediate connection. Kelly and I love picking at each other. He was so funny, witty and kind. Every time we all got together it’s like we just picked up where we left off. My only regret is not getting to hug his neck before he passed. We were heading to Tulsa in June, but he decided to go see Jesus. We will have that conversation one day. All kidding aside we will all be together again one day and we will have a Reunion. Love you Russell family. Kelly will never be forgotten and will always be in our heart.

My boys and I called him Mr. Kelly and he was my wonderful neighbor for 12 years. He always had a kind word, a joke or a smile for my sons and I. He was a truly good man and it was my honor to live next door to him and be a part of he and his lovely wife’s community. He will be sorely missed and I will forever cherish the memories of chatting on the front lawn with him. No words can describe my sadness at his passing. I wish his family peace and hope during this time of loss. Mr. Kelly, we love you.
