Kelly Marie Smith's Obituary
Our sweet, precious 'Kelly Belly, Sugar Bear, Boo Boo, Tator Head, Sister' went to be with Jesus Wednesday night. Although we will miss her more than words can explain, we know she's running the streets of gold. Her precious smile and dimples, her beautiful eyes, and that contagious laugh will always be in our hearts. We were blessed with 12 wonderful years, and know Kelly's life had a purpose. Now that the Lord's work is done, she's earned her wings and she's gone home. Our days and nights centered around this beautiful little girl and our lives will never be the same. With every cough, sneeze and push of the ice maker, or any loud noise, we will always turn our head and say 'don't scare the baby' and proceed to tell Kelly to 'come back from the moon'. No more startles baby girl, you can make as much noise as you want! You will always be in our hearts and our memories. Although we can't take care of you here on earth, we know your Grandpa Ronnie, Great Grandpa Taylor, Aunt Cleeta, Mamo and Pops will do just that. May you continue to be spoiled rotten! Kelly graduated from The Little Light House in July 2006, where she spent her first 7 years of life. From there she went to Hoover, and then Patrick Henry where she graduated in May, 2009. She was currently enrolled in 6th grade, at Edison Middle School. We are so thankful for the many wonderful teachers and staff we came in contact with over her 11 years in school. They were truly a blessing to our family as we began to learn a whole new world. They are God's angles. Mommy, Daddy, Sister and Grandma will all miss you so very, very much, but we'll see you again someday. You were our miracle on earth, and the entire family was blessed by you daily. You will always be our 'prettiest baby in the wide, wide world! We love you so, so, so! Now go play and run, run, run! Kelly is survived by her mother, Karen Smith of Tulsa, her father, Joseph Smith of Adair, her sister, Michelle and her husband Justin Heaton, of Adair. Her Grandma Nancy Taylor and Aunt Sharon, of Tulsa. Her Grandma and Papa, Jack and Freeda Smith of Tulsa. Kelly had many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, a Nephew and a Niece. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kelly's name to The Little Light House. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2011, 3:00 PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
