Kelsey Rathbone was born on December 2, 1987, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Darryl and Kelly Caldwell. She passed away on January 14, 2026, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Kelsey was a gentle soul with a calming presence that put others at ease. She had a deep and abiding love for animals—especially rabbits and turtles—and possessed a special way with them that reflected her compassionate heart. Fiercely protective and unafraid to stand up for anyone, Kelsey was assertive, determined, and unwavering in her values.
Creativity was woven into every part of her life. She loved to express herself through her tattoos and her love of musicals, movies, and books. Her fun, quirky, and unique spirit shone brightly, drawing people in and making lasting impressions. Growing up, Kelsey loved participating in musical theater, where her artistic passions began.
Above all, Kelsey was family-oriented and deeply passionate about the people and causes she cared for. Her warmth, individuality, and courage will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Kelsey’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the animals she loved, and the fearless kindness she showed the world.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Pápa, Keith Utley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Rathbone, her parents Darryl and Kelly Caldwell, her sister Katarina Caldwell and fiancé Taylor, her brother Cameron Caldwell and wife Mackenzie, and her grandparents Nana, Gaye and Grandpa, Happy Caldwell, Gran, Lee Utley, her fiancé, Bodie, along with numerous friends and family.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 23rd, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Floral Have Funeral Home
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24th, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home - Main Chapel
