Ken Whittington's Obituary
Kendrick Lee Whittington, “Ken,” was born on May 16, 1953, to John Dow and Jewel Whittington in Tulsa, OK. He was raised in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and graduated from Charles Page High School in 1971. He went on to attend Oklahoma State University, where he majored in Radio and Television before beginning what became a 30-plus-year career in the insurance industry with Farmers Insurance.
On September 2, 1988, Ken married Rita (Chamberlain).
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, John Dow and Jewel Whittington.
He is survived by his brother, Lonnie Whittington, and his sister, Sheila & Craig Mercy.
He is also survived by his children: Traci & Aaron Fieker, Brook & Chance Greer, Brad Whittington, Brittany & Derec Norman and Kendrick & Addie Whittington
He is further survived by his grandchildren: Tate, Beau, Madelyn, Ethan, Claire, Olivia, Bella, Eli, Liam, Lexi, and Aedrick.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family and friends take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of Christ, where there is no more pain, sorrow, or separation — only eternal peace.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home - Rose Chapel
Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Garden of St. Paul
