Kenneth L. Carter's Obituary
Kenneth L. Carter, 82, of Tulsa, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 12:30 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born on August 11, 1934, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie Virgil, and Birdy Irene (Hocker) Carter. He had worked as a police officer for most of his life, and had served in the United States Army. Kenneth is survived by his children, Charles K. Carter, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David P. Carter, and Connie M. Daugherty, and her husband, Charles, both of Claremore, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Ashleigh Marie Carter, and Patrick Shane Carter, siblings, Jim Carter, Naomi Jenkins, Salinas, California, Dorothy Goode, both of Oklahoma City, and other extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marilyn, and sister, Mary Bohde.
