Kenneth "Kenny" Casper Lambrecht's Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Casper Lambrecht passed away March 23, 2014 at the age of 81. Kenny was born November 27, 1932 to Casper and Rose Lambrecht in Billings, Montana. Straight off the farm he ventured with his wife and two children in tow to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he started his working career as the handsome Carnation Milkman delivering to all the housewives of South Tulsa. He went to work at Rainbow Bread, then later to settle into a lifelong career as a maintenance Electrician at Martin Marietta, now known as Blue Circle Cement Plant. He retired after 30+Years of dedication to the plant and union he so strongly supported. He was a serious bowler, traveling in the St. Peter & Paul Church league all over the United States in tournaments. Rose Bowl was his second home. He loved to fish and tell stories. He was of strong German decent and kept the German history alive in our family through song, dance and study. He loved to go to the October fest every year. His faithful sidekick, Miss Kitty kept him company through these last 7 years while mom awaited his arrival in Heaven. Kenny was strong with the Lord and passed that along to his four children. He taught them all life lessons, kept the pesky boys at bay from their sisters; and taught the sons how to fix their cars and handle the tools. He was the hero to his children; always giving a helping hand to those in need He may not have been a wealthy man, but he was rich in the heart. Always a big smile for everyone he met; laughing out loud was a main stay everywhere he went. He will be missed. “We rejoice in the Lord for he has called him home.” Kenny is preceded in passing by his parents, wife of 50+ years, four brothers and one sister.
