Kenneth Lyle Corder's Obituary
Corder, Kenneth Lyle, 83, was taken into the Lord’s arms peacefully on March 19, 2009. He was born to Ray Corder and Vida (Ragan) Corder on March 9, 1926 on the family farm in Putnam, Oklahoma. After moving to Tulsa as a young adult, he met his wife, Louise, and they were married in August, 1950. Ken worked for many years at Nelson Electric. He cherished the lifelong friendships he made during this time. After retiring, he started his own successful sales company – KenCor, Inc. Ken was a devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He had a great sense of pride and love for all his family. His quiet strength and strong faith has been a true inspiration to us all. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. (918) 252-2518Survived By: his wife Louise; 2 brothers: Dale and Dwight; daughters and son-in-laws: Debbie and Gary Robinson, Brenda and Brent Thomas and Kay and Doug Vincent; 4 grandchildren: Nathan, Todd, Chad and Melanie; great grandchildren: Cooper, Nash, Austin and Aidan; and a loving group of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne, sister Ruth and grandson Kenneth Shaw.
