Kenneth Ray Johnson's Obituary
Kenneth Ray Johnson, born on March 4, 1939, in Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kenneth was the beloved son of Ronald Everett and Madine (Foreman) Johnson. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and dedicated 56 years of his career to the Oil and Gas industry as a Chemical Engineer, working for Sun Ray DX.
Kenneth was best known for his passion for the carwash he owned at 61st and Peoria, which he operated for 50 years. His dedication and hard work made it a local landmark.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Louann Russell Johnson of Shawnee, OK. Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Pamela Johnson Henry, and her husband, Jack Henry; three grandchildren, Michael Henry, Grace Henry Mathis, and Macy Henry Wehner; and three great-grandchildren, Josie Henry, Noa Mathis, and Margot Henry.
At this time, no services are scheduled. Kenneth’s legacy of dedication and love will be cherished by all who knew him.
