Kenneth "Ken" Lester Gideon's Obituary
Ken L. Gideon 54, passed away August 19, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ken was the son of Thomas Lester and Lucy (Harris ) Gideon. He was born December 29, 1955 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a former resident of Broken Arrow. Ken was in the construction industry as a sales manager. Ken and Janet Ruth Joiner were married July 4, 1991 in their home to which Ken was very proud of in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Ken is survived by his wife Janet, daughter and son-in-law Ashley (Terry) Bartlett, his son and daughter-in-law Roy (Tara) Hayden, four granddaughters, Kyla Barnett, Emily Bartlett, Natalie Bartlett, Hayley Hayden. His has one sister Jane Marie Gideon , one neice, Ansley Cheyenne Echols, and one nephew Aidan Christian Echols as well as other family and many friends left to carry on his legacy. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Rev. Nick Garland officiating. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society in Ken’s name.
