Kenneth Rogers' Obituary
Kenneth A. Rogers, 87 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born October 23, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents, Arley Lee Rogers and Edna Mae Liles Rogers. Kenneth married the love of his life, Darlene Shook Rogers on December 23, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They shared 63 beautiful years together.Kenneth served in the United States Navy and had a passion for the sport of tennis. He enjoyed tending to his yard and rose bushes as well as spending time in the kitchen baking bread and making candy for others.He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Rogers of the home; daughter, Darla K. Rogers of Bixby, Oklahoma as well as numerous friends, tennis buddies and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arley and Edna Rogers; and seven siblings, Novella, Neta, Reta, James, Evert, Lee Roy and Edsel.Visitation will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
