Kenneth Tirpak's Obituary
Tirpak, Kenneth Ray (Ken) age 65, died peacefully at home on November 20th. Most will remember him as a kind-hearted man who dedicated his life to making others the best versions of themselves.
His family knew him as Dad and Papa, a calm spirit who always had the right Ralph Lauren polo and the right thing to say (even if it was wildly inappropriate). Ken was known to say he would never do the flowers for another wedding but giving in and crafting the arrangements anyways.
Ken was a Mason and member of the East Lodge #504 in Fairview Heights, Illinois. He was also a Shriner and member of the Ainad Shrine Temple in East St. Louis, Illinois. He spent many of his years as a Shriner Clown entertaining children at the Shiner’s Children’s Hospital. He dedicated his life to florals and the floral business, with the last 15 years spent as the Vice President of Floral Operations at Reasors.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Wilma Tirpak, and brother George Tirpak. He is survived by his two daughters Amy Tirpak (Paul) and Jenalee Tirpak (Tim), step-son Mario (Christina) Urruela, brother Christopher Tirpak, grandchildren Mila, Eden, Mario, Charlotte, and Willa who will grow up to remember their Papa’s kind soul and share it with those around them.
