Kenneth Merle Waggoner, Jr., a beloved husband, father, and dedicated professional, peacefully passed away on July 8, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on February 8, 1937, in Tulsa to Kenneth Merle Waggoner Sr. and Vera Inez (Cotton) Waggoner, Ken lived a life marked by compassion and hard work.
Ken was known for his unwavering commitment to serving others. He was also a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. Ken was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ken cherished his role as a loving husband and devoted father. He leaves behind his wife Alice Waggoner of 65 years of marriage, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love and support.
Ken is also survived by his daughters, Lesley Murphy and Shelley Waggoner; grandchildren Bren and Kendall Murphy; great-grandchildren, Aydin, Aubrey, Kali, and Kensley; who were a source of immense pride and joy in his life. He treasured the moments spent with his family, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all.
In addition to his immediate family, Ken leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends who will forever remember his kindness, gentle spirit, and genuine concern for others.
Currently, there are no scheduled services to commemorate Ken's life. However, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him.
