Kenneth Wayne Ruffin, 72, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away at home on March 8, 2016. Ken was born on November 23, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the oldest son of Beryl K. and Sibyl E. (Wood) Ruffin. He graduated from Edison High School i Read Obituary
Ken was a great person with great advice. His role as Benefits Director was one of the best the hospital ever had. He truly cared about the future of the folks that he worked with. He was also a good friend and I enjoyed out time through the years in and out of the work place. He will be dearly missed.
Ken was my best friend in high school. He always carried my books, opened doors, and walked me to class. We had lots of fun times at school and church with our friends. What a full and gifted life. I never knew that Ken was a Respiratory Therapist, as I was. I was in the field for 35 years in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. What a positive force he must have been creating such a diverse environment in the Tulsa area for our field of Pulmonary Medicine to flourish and grow. May he rest in peace!!!Don Kahl
