Kevin Michael Swan's Obituary
Kevin “Michael” Swan was born on February 9, 1970 in Amarillo, Texas to David and Mary Sue Swan. The family relocated to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1973. Michael completed his schooling in Broken Arrow. He went to TJC and Spartan with a degree in communications and electronics and worked for Mac Systems of Tulsa. Michael was a BA Boy, who dearly loved Broken Arrow and the Tulsa area. He was a proud alumni of The Pride of Broken Arrow. Michael never met a stranger and was a real people person whom everyone loved. He lived life to the fullest and adored his family and friends. Michael had a beautiful singing voice, loved music and making tapes with his family. He dearly loved the holidays, his boat and jet ski, his Harley and Bronco, his cat Moo Moo and his home. He loved to hunt and trout fish and go to the trailer at Roaring River. Michael was a member of First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow and a reverent Christian who always helped everyone and took great care of his Mom and Dad. He is survived by: parents, Dave and Sue Swan; brother: Steve Swan and his wife Janet and their son, David; sister: Michelle Wamsley and her husband Paul and their son, Drake; lifelong friends: Clint Mitchell, Matt Dulaney, Beau Pratt and Jerry Shellenbarger. Michael is now at home with his Lord and with his Granny and Grandad. Michael was a shining light in our lives that will never go out. May all of our memories grow sweeter and our sadness grow dimmer. We will forever miss him until one day we are reunited. Michael, we will love you forever. Dear God, take care of our precious boy and sustain his family and friends to carry on his loving legacy. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, 3:00 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the family receiving guests from 6:00 – 8:00 at Floral Haven.
