Kimberly Ann Hess' Obituary
Kimberly Ann Hess, 51, of Sand Springs danced into Heaven Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. Kim was born August 31st, 1963 to Gloria Lou Battles in Tulsa, OK. Kim was a loving, supportive, and adventurous wife to Rick Hess, 53, for 33 years. She was also a dedicated, selfless, and patient mother to Jeremiah Hess, 31, Of Tulsa, OK, Courtney Hess, 24, of Sand Springs, OK, and Matthew Price, 18, of Sand Springs; she was also an amazing motherly figure to numerous kids including Cameron Knoettgen, 25, of Tulsa, OK, always treating them like one of her own. Kim did everything whole heartedly including the 17 years she worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. She was also highly involved with Indian Education where she volunteered on the Parent Committee for a number of years. Some of her hobbies included traveling, cooking, and laughing. Kim was an NSU graduate, receiving her Bachelors in accounting. Kim was preceded in death by her mother Gloria Battles, her sister Tonya Price, Nephew Michael Price, her uncle Randy Battles, and her father and mother- in – law Howard and Lois Hess. She is lovingly survived by her husband Ricky Hess, children Jeremiah Hess, Courtney Hess, nephew Mathew Price, her grandmother Linda Battles, other extended family and countless friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Belview Baptist Church, 1040 N Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115. Viewing and flowers can be sent to Floral Haven, 6420 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, October 3, 2014, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home.
