LaDonna Mae Welsh's Obituary
LaDonna Mae Welsh, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to her family. She was born on July 23, 1939, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Everett and Elizabeth Rochelle.
LaDonna was first married to Gene Christenson, with whom she welcomed three beloved children. She later married Emery "Junior" Welsh, and together they built Ace Construction, creating not only a successful business but a life founded on dedication, hard work, and partnership.
As a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, LaDonna's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found great comfort in her beliefs and was known for her kindness, loving spirit, and enthusiasm for sharing hope with others. Her faith guided the way she treated people—with compassion, generosity, and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Elizabeth Rochelle; her two brothers Everrett Rochelle Jr and Jerry Rochelle; and both of her husbands, Gene Christenson and Emery "Junior" Welsh.
Above all, LaDonna cherished her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Don and Cheryl Christenson, Richard and Gaye Banks, and Pam Penn-Paul. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
LaDonna will be remembered for her unwavering faith, strong work ethic, outgoing and fun personality, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and example. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories they will carry in their hearts forever.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at 12:30PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
