Lanny was a great guy. I just now heard of his passing through a son of a mutual former coworker. This makes me sad because Lanny was such a good person I assumed he would live much longer. R.I.P. old friend you will be missed by so many.

So many memories of Lanny back in school at Paoli. His humor, kindness, and enthusiasm will not be forgotten. Sincere condolences to all the family.
Lanny has always been good to me. We shared the same type occupation of transmission rebuilding and racing. Lanny was always nice enough to job shadow my students from the auto school I teach at. He also hired and mentored a lot of my students over the past 20 years. I liked Lanny because he would always take time out to speak to you and genuinely care about you and make it personable even when he was super busy. We all will miss you Lanny. Thanks for all of the transmission talks and all the help you gave me. Godspeed my dear friend. Steve Cummings
Lanny always had a smile for you. One day he came to work and stood in the pouring rain to start my car. Never lost his sense of humor. He had a heart full of love for everyone. We were all made better for knowing him. Love to the family.
I will always remember Lanny riding his Bridgestone motorcycle while lying on his stomach doing plus 60 mph on the county road going west from Paoli. Always a wildchild, but a good friend. (Glen Spencer, Paoli graduate 1969)
